Space Parasite Released

Kramlack and I decided to release Space Parasite after months of failed sponsor-searching. Ah well, better luck next time, I suppose.

It can be played at Newgrounds, Kongregate, or just on dropbox.

The Superghosts mentioned at the bottom of the title screen is the company I'm starting up with Connor Kimbrough (he's gone by a couple of different aliases, including acidBatterie and beef, and is behind Hot Ninja Moon Moon and Super Mind Dungeon). We've got some interesting plans, so keep an eye out for more from us. We've got a website, though it's still rather a work in progess (there's a lot I need to learn about web design). Wish us luck

Edit: Destral from TIGS had the idea to split up the highscores into tiers based on attribute points, and I liked it enough to put it in the game immediately. So now it should be in there

Blitzkast this Sunday

The Poppenkast is going to have a 4-hour development jam this Sunday. The rules are pretty lax. Just make a game. We'll be hanging out on the #poppenkast irc channel on irc.slashnet.org during the jam.
You don't have to spend the whole 4 hours on a game. If you're short on time, stop by and just make something quickly. It's going to be a monthly thing, happening on the second Sunday of each month.

Space Parasite Trailer

For the last couple months I've been working on this game with Kramlack. It's basically finished now.

Space Parasite lets the player take control of a small orb hovering around in space. You must infect enemies and destroy them to collect gems that will help you grow and unlock new secrets. Customize from various power-ups and enemies to find the best combination.

We're currently looking for sponsors. If you're interested, throw me an email at andyw.ra (at) gmail.com

Duum Machine (Me + Scattle + Amon26)

Hey check it out. I ported another of Scattle's old games. Amon26 provided us with a score.
(Click here to play it in centered in the browser screen)

Here's the description we've been using:
Duum Mashine is a grunge shooter with the neat concept of destroying things using a huge solar powered laser! It features completely hand-drawn graphics, an industrial score by Amon26, and the addicting arcade action you know and love!
Protip: holding the laser down is pretty inefficient. Try tapping the mouse button while aiming precisely instead!

I like the game. I think it's reasonably fun for a while. Maybe you will as well. Cheers

You can also check it out on Newgrounds
